I finished my first film in London!
At first, I really don’t know how to stat a film shooting including research and story developing. Elie reminded me that you need to challenge yourself and jump out your comfort zone. So I pushed myself to finish the shooting before the Christmas Festival contacted artists from Instagram. Finally I got makeup the artist, models, and garments.
I planed shooting in the studio first， then Regent’s Park and Trafalgar square. Before the shooting day I emailed Vicky about my shooting plan. Vicky reminded me that I should contact the council if I shot in Trafalgar Square and Regent’s Park.
We shot in three places Regent’s Park, Siddih’ house and lime grove studio in one day. Thanks for Siddhi, She offered her house for makeup and change clothes. It was much more convenient because Siddhi’s place is nearby Regent’s Park.

I made many mistakes during the shooting day. I thought I just only had to be responsible for my job. However, as a director you need to supervise the crew. I borrowed a stabilizer but I don’t know how to use it as well as my videographer.We spent almost 3 hours to learn how to use the stabilizer in the Regent’s Park. The Time was severely delayed.
Its crazy that when they walked in the street.
It was the right choice that I shot in outside first. When we back to the studio everything became much easier. Alrought leading actors had to leave, I used Amelia and the photographer Yichen to be my model in the studio.
Thanks for Amelia’s help for the fitting and pack up before the shooting day. There were too much work for myme to prepare everything. She is a talent actor as well!
